Chapel
This is the Chapel where my nephew Joe got married. It was a cold afternoon and as soon as the wedding ceremony was finished I headed for the reception hall and the bar where I asked for a shot of whiskey to warm up. The name of the reception is, The Windmill Receptions and is located at the corner of Melton Hway and Leake Street, in Klumpton. It was a great night.
Family Night
This photo was taken at our club on a get togher night. Form left : Ralph Larosa (now deceased), Satale Scardamaglia, myself (Peter Carnovale), Peter Lanciana and Frank Luzza. It was really a good night.

I was born in a family of eight children, seven girls and myself the only boy. Three of my sisters were born before me and another four after me. One of my sisters lives in La Plata, Argentina and has two children, all the others live in Melbourne, Australia. Unfortunately one of them passed away some years ago at age 51. Myself and my wife have three children, all of them boys. We also have three grand children.
La Mia Nascita
Nu juarnu i sira a tarda ura
Quandu ali tiarri si cojjia lu mijju
Arriva na mbsciata cu premura
Ad'Orcisanu nci nesciu nu fijju
Eranu viarzu i sie u quattru i settembre
Duve si cojjia u mijju era o Golio
A notte non chiudiu uacchiu pe nente
Tuttu cuntiantu ringraziandu a Dio
Fuarzi nta mianti sua vidia u futuru
Duappu quattru fimmani nu masculu nescia
Si facia u cuntu di quantu lavuru
Stu nuavu natu fare nci potia
A cuntentizza durau pe bellu tiampu
La sira l'annacava e l'abballava
Pero' dinta a u sua sentimiantu
U volia rande e pemmo lavurava
Finda a dudici anni a scola jiu
E arrivau a quinta elementare
Apprissu matina priastu lu sbattiu
Levati, ca mo ti tocca di zappare
Ciangiandu finda a Puarru arriadu d'iju
Quandu Cola i Giabbia disse: "Chi ti ciangi?
Ormai si a menza strata e io non criju
Ca a decisiuani i patrita tu cangi"
Arrivamme findarmente a lu Golio
Mi porgiu na zappa e non disse nente
Passamme tutta na jornata iju e io
Tutti i dui ccittu, silenziosamente
Quandu tornamme a casa pue a sirata
A tavula pe mangiare era lesta
Nto cuari mi sentia na pistolata
E nnu turmiantu rande nta la testa
A sorta mia era ormai gia distinata
No arti, no mistari, a scola ormai finuta
Sta cazza i zappa non mme mai piaciuta
This morning it was quite cool but at 7am I left home and went for my walk along the Merri Creek Trail. With me I took my Sony camera and took a few photos. Even though it was a cool morning the sun started to shine and the view looked beautiful so I thought it was a good idea to take a few photos. Here is one of them.
When I was a young man I travelled by from Melbourne to Cairns, North Queensland. Had to change three trains to Brisbane and then took the country train to Cairns. From Spencer Street Station to Cairns it took three full days to get there. I went to Cairns to cut sugar cane and earn a little better money than I was earning in a factory. I was 18 years of age at that tima and full pay was obtained at age 21. It is a long and complex story and I will elaborate with more detail another day. Here is a photo of the sugar cane. The location was Babinda north Qld.
